Privacy
What this website keeps about you, and why. Short version: very little.
No tracking
There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking cookies. Fonts and images are served by this website, so no third party sees your visit. The only cookie is the one that keeps you signed in, if you have an account.
Your account
An account is optional: the game works without one. If you create one, we keep your username, your e-mail address, your avatar if you add one, and your password as a one-way hash (nobody can read it back, not even us). If you sign in with Discord or Google, we keep the identifier they give us for your account, and your e-mail address; we don’t use your picture from those services.
To keep accounts safe, each signed-in device is recorded with its IP address and browser name, until you sign out or the session ends (30 days without a visit). E-mails (confirming your address, resetting your password) are sent through an e-mail delivery service, which only receives your address and the message.
Your username, avatar and the month you joined are public, on your profile page. From your account page you can download everything we keep about you, or delete your account: it’s erased right away.
Server logs
Like any web server, ours records technical logs (IP address, page requested, date) to keep the site running and to stop abuse. They are deleted after a few weeks.
Map downloads
To count each download once, we keep a fingerprint of your IP address (not the address itself) with the map and the day. It is deleted after two days; only the total count stays.
Messages you send
When you use the contact or takedown form, we keep what you wrote, your name and your e-mail address, so we can answer you. Messages are deleted once they are dealt with, and at the latest after one year.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete what we keep about you at any time: write to contact@example.com. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
